Forde promotes a genuine sense of community and connection through a range of amenities that bring neighbours together. Whether it’s catching up for a coffee in the Village Centre or taking a stroll through the parklands, Forde has been designed as place where residents can meet with old friends and new neighbours.

At the heart of the project is a bustling Village Centre for meeting and socialising. Education facilities and child care will allow parents and children to get to know each other. A community centre with meeting rooms, a community lounge and internet cafe is also planned for the village centre.

Relaxed living is easy with a mix of quiet local streets and parks where everyone can get the most out of life. Green, open space makes up 29% of Forde. A central pond, a sports oval, barbeques, playgrounds and a network of walkways and bike paths are already a part of Forde and encourage socialising and outdoor family activities.

A dedicated Community Development Manager has been appointed to co-ordinate community groups and sporting teams and help new residents integrate into the Forde community.
